UNS C86300 Bronze Alloy casting alloy Copper SAE 430 B
Conex bronze offers casting in its Indian foundry from various Bronze alloys including UNS C86300 Bronze Alloy casting alloy Copper SAE 430 B C 863 alloy for casting foundry
The UNS C86300 bronze, also called SAE 430 B is a corrosion resistant bronze and is suitable for high loads, low speed applications requiring a combination of strength and wear characteristics and high support. Despite its strength characteristics, this manganese bronze alloy is not heat-treatable and needs a reliable lubrication to be used with hardened shafts. The lead in this alloy composition improves machinability without affecting its mechanical properties.
The UNS C86300 / SAE 430 B tensile strength is 7,700 kg/cm2, and its Brinell hardness is 223 – 230.
